1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Mentorr, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you are using Mentorr on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Mentorr is a mentorship and professional development platform that connects mentors, mentees, and advisors using our Synergy Match algorithm. The platform provides tools for scheduling, goal-setting, messaging, resource sharing, and community engagement.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date profile information.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@mentorr.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Mentor & Mentee Relationships

Mentorr facilitates introductions and provides communication tools, but is not a party to any mentorship agreement between users. You acknowledge that:

• Mentorr does not guarantee the quality, safety, or suitability of any mentor or mentee.
• Any advice received through the platform is the personal opinion of the individual and does not constitute professional legal, financial, or medical advice.
• You are solely responsible for verifying the credentials of other users you engage with.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the platform to:

• Post or share content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory.
• Solicit or share personal financial or payment information outside of approved channels.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your professional background.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract platform data.
• Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam.
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security measures.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you post on Mentorr. By posting content, you grant Mentorr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

All platform software, design, trademarks, and other intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Mentorr. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written consent.

7. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using Mentorr, you consent to those practices.

8. Disclaimers

Mentorr is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Match scores and compatibility metrics are algorithmic estimates and are not guarantees of any outcome.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mentorr and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform. Our total aggregate liability to you will not exceed the greater of $100 or the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, notify you by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mentorr operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
